Alumni News - Professor Denis Howe Interview

As a school with more than 300 years of history we are proud to have a strong alumni network. Former WBGS boys go on to a wide variety of careers and we love to share their stories. 

Cranfield University recently approached the school with a request for information from the archives (The Fuller Memorial Library hosts a dedicated archive room in which hundreds of artefacts dating back over the centuries are stored). Cranfield were preparing a film to honour Professor Emeritus Denis Howe, Denis attended WBGS from 1938 to 1944 and became Dean of Engineering at Cranfield University.  Please enjoy this short film interviewing Denis, an inspiration for all our current boys with their sights on a career in engineering and aeronautics:
