The PRE department invited students from all year groups to take part in a creative and exciting competition to mark this year’s Inter Faith Week. The task was to design a creative piece of work that centralises on this year’s theme ‘stronger together’. We had a fantastic array of entries.

Runners up were Aadam S 8F, Achintya B 7P, Abishkar K 7N.The winner of the competition was Emmanuel A 8R, who wrote a poem, titled ’Unite’ with the theme ‘stronger together’.

Unite

In this world of sorrow and pain

A lot of people dig for gold

Even when the world is burning

The human race is not learning

And the future of our world

Hangs in the balance

But my faith is great for God

And I really do believe

That if we just unite

We would not have to fight

And then we yet might

Still pull through

If we stick together

Whatever the weather

We will have a chance

To finally advance

There will be a place

To change the face

Of our dear earth
