Sixth Form (external applicants)

Watford Grammar School for Boys has an enviable reputation as one of the top performing schools in the country. In particular we are one of the top schools in the country at helping students into the 30 most competitive universities.  Our Sixth Form students work in a challenging intellectual environment and we offer a wide range of courses, with opportunities to engage in many extra-curricular activities. Examination results are outstanding.

Our Sixth Form Open Evening was on 18th October 2017 and the deadline for applications was 30th November. We cannot now accept a late application. However, past experience tells us that a few vacancies may arise at the time of the publication of the GCSE results. We will be holding an open session for external applicants at the school on GCSE results day, Thursday 23rd August 2018, 10am to 12 noon. If you have achieved our minimum entry requirements and are still interested in studying here at A level, please feel free to come to the open session, bringing your results slips. Please note attendance at the school is essential as telephones and emails will not be answered.
