STEM Centre Appeal

Work on the school’s new STEM Centre is progressing at a pace and we are on track to complete the building by the start of the new academic year in September, with lessons gradually moving over to the new building during the course of the term.

We have been fortunate to have the entire cost of construction of the Centre funded by grants from national and local government. This has meant that parental donations to the school during this time have continued to be spent on our revenue budget for the school.

However, the cost of fixtures, fittings and equipment is not covered by our government grants. We are therefore seeking donations towards the much-needed equipment that will provide outstanding science, technology, engineering and maths facilities for our boys now and in the future.

The Centre will transform the STEM facilities at Watford Grammar School for Boys, meaning our students will benefit from some of the best teaching facilities for secondary education in Hertfordshire – on a par with, or exceeding many of the local private schools.

Every donor of £100 or more will be recognised with their name on permanent display in the entrance area of the STEM Centre.

To donate, please fill out the below form and return it with a cheque made out to Watford Fuller Foundation. Cheque payments enable us to more easily claim Gift Aid on eligible donations, increasing the overall sum raised.

Sponsorship opportunities

There are opportunities for sponsorship of specific larger items of equipment by individuals or businesses. If you are interested in a larger donation, please contact the school’s Development Director, Hollie Rendall, by email or via the school switchboard.
