Sixth Form (external applicants)

Watford Grammar School for Boys has an enviable reputation as one of the top performing schools in the country. In particular we are one of the top schools in the country at helping students into the 30 most competitive universities.  Our Sixth Form students work in a challenging intellectual environment and we offer a wide range of courses, with opportunities to engage in many extra-curricular activities. Examination results are outstanding.

Our Sixth Form Open Evening was on 19th October 2016 and the deadline for applications was 10th November. We are now processing these on-time applications and cannot now accept a late application.

Past experience tells us that a few vacancies may arise at the time of the publication of the GCSE results. We will be holding an open session for external applicants at the school on Thursday 24 August between 10am and 2pm. If you have achieved our minimum entry and subject specific requirements please feel free to come to the open session; bringing your GCSE results slips with you. Please note attendance at the school is essential as telephones and emails will not be answered.  For our Sixth Form entry criteria, including subject specific requirements, please carefully read our Prospectus below.
